The last day began with an unexpected event. We initiated and witnessed an alpine rescue. But we'll save this story for over a beer.

On the last day we were treated to more views as we made our way back to Cortina!

For those of you looking for your next hiking adventure, we highly recommend the Dolomites. It was really one of the high points of our epic summer of travel!
